WTA study show ridership on rise, buses on time

"Following are recently compiled statistics on WTA ridership in 2009:

On time: On average, buses were on time about 93 percent, beating the 90 percent goal. During the evening rush hour, it was about 85 percent. On time is defined as being within five minutes of the scheduled arrival time. Part of the reason for lateness in the evenings, WTA staff said, is a result of more riders at more stops."
