Madeline Mays’ hat trick pushes Western’s unbeaten streak to 6

After a rainy night at Harrington Field, Western women’s soccer freshman Madeline Mays returned to the locker room drenched from an ice shower by her teammates. Mays scored her first collegiate goal, followed by two more for a hat trick, to lead the Vikings to a 3-0 victory over Montana State University Billings on Thursday night.

“I’ve had so many opportunities in the last few games and knew I needed to get one,” Mays said. “When it rains, it pours. I hope to keep getting more as the season goes.”
