Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week: Nov. 13 film screening of “The Last Class”

To kick off Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week, Western Washington University’s Basic Needs Hub invites you to attend a film screening and discussion of “The Last Class.”

The film “The Last Class” is a nuanced and deeply personal portrait of master educator Robert Reich teaching his final course and reflecting on a period of immense personal and global transformation. It is a love letter to education.

See the film and discuss its themes with others from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13th, in Fraser 201. The film screening will also include a short panel presentation by Woodring College of Education Associate Dean of Student Access and Success, Health and Community Studies John Korsmo; WWU alum Zay Hassan; and Ashley DeLatour, the executive director of programs at FuturesNW.
