Humans vs. Zombies club to stage game on campus Saturday, Jan. 24
The Humans vs. Zombies club at Western Washington University will hold a weekend minigame on Saturday, Jan. 24. A series of stand-alone missions will take palce from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on campus.
This is a free-to-play event, and past experience of the game is not required. There will be a rules presentation to those participating to acquaint and refresh all players on the rules and expectations. Afterward, the multiple human teams and those wanting to be zombies will be assigned. Getting tagged in one mission won’t carry over into the next mission, so players can have a chance to play both sides. A lunch break is planned between missions.
Participants are asked to bring only Nerf blasters and proper bags to stow them when going indoors. The club operates in close coordination with campus administration and University Police. This collaboration establishes rules, gameplay restrictions and the approval of Nerf blasters used in-game. To view the allowed arsenal and rules of the game, visit http://wwuhumansvszombies.com.
Any questions, comments, or concerns can be voiced to moderators in person (wearing green armbands) or sent to the club email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
