Follow along as students, faculty blog from remote Cherskiy region of Siberia

Andy Bunn, an associate professor of environmental science at Western Washington University's Huxley Colloege of the Environment, and WWU students Matt Moroney and Becky Tachihara are off exploring Cherskiy, Siberia, with the Polaris Project. The project is an expedition funded by the National Science Foundation to assess the rate of melting permafrost in the Siberian Arctic, and what that rate means for global climate change. Both Bunn and the two students will be posting blog updates during their time with the project.
