Flu shots available this fall for WWU students

The Student Health Center at Western Washington University is offering flu shots this fall for WWU students. The cost, $25 each, will be billed to students' accounts.

The center strongly encourages that all WWU students and employees obtain the seasonal flu vaccine this year. Dr. Emily Gibson, director of the Student Health Center, encourages those with chronic illnesses to get their flu shots as soon as possible.

Faculty and staff may get their flu shots on campus through the Wise and Well U program.

Students may receive a flu shot by appointment at the Student Health Center during usual business hours. Students should call 360-650-3400 and select option 1 to schedule an appointment. The center's website contains more details.
