Five awesome quiet study spots on campus, from five students

We reached out to several WWU students to get their advice on where the best place to hunker down for class work is across campus. Hover your mouse over each to find the location.

Here’s what they had to say:

The Interdisciplinary Science building

The ISB was the spot for Ellie Carney, an Environmental Science major from Boise, Idaho.

Wilson Library, third floor, by the sociology books

“There’s one table I’ve been going to since my first fall quarter. It’s quiet in the morning, and you can watch the leaves change color, fall, and grow back on the branches that move across the window.” – Madeleine Bordenet, Snoqualmie

Environmental Science building, third floor

“It's called Flora Corner. It's a well-lit little corner with lots of big plants.” – Anika Erickson, Sociology, Anchorage, Alaska

Wilson Library, fifth floor

“In the cubbies, because it’s real quiet and has a good view of the bay so it’s not so draining.” – Scott Leitner, English Literature, Tri-Cities

The Academic West window seats

The Academic West window seats are the primo study locale for Willow Heidt, an Urban Planning major from Seabeck.
