Fall Info Fair registration is now open!
This year's Info Fair will only take place on ONE DAY, Monday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with an hour-long intermission from 1-2 p.m. to give tabling organizations a break from students visiting the fair. The registration form will close on Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m., so get your registration in at your earliest convenience. Please communicate with outgoing and incoming leaders on who will be filling out the form.
Please read through this email carefully before signing up:
- All tables will be shared by two groups, and we use a first-come, first-serve basis – so get your registration in as soon as you can!
- If you are tabling both halves of the fair, feel free to pack up your things for that hour or hangout in the space! There will be a planned event during this intermission, with more details to come as we get closer to the event!
- New WIN form feature: You now register for the fair by selecting your organization. This allows me to see which organizations have registered, rather than by the person’s name. The person filling out the form will need to hold an officer position within the organization to submit a response.
- Please note that selling items is prohibited at the fair. This is a free event for students, and we would like to keep it as accessible as possible for everyone. Feel free to give away free items, food or prizes!
- If you are planning to bring high-risk food, you will need to obtain the proper permit. Low-risk foods (such as prepackaged candy) do not need a permit. Other low-risk foods include pre-packaged/bought cookies/brownies, tea/coffee, donuts etc., although it is recommended you wear gloves and/or use serving utensils when distributing such baked goods. More information can be found at this link: https://www.whatcomcounty.us/3236/Food-Related-Permits
- In the event that it rains, the fair will be held in the Viking Union, and each organization will only table for one half of the fair, either 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm.

You likely won’t hear anything from me again until September, other than a confirmation email when your form is approved. Please reach out to the 2025 Info Fair Coordinator, Sylvia Peters, at infofair.coordinator@wwu.edu if you have any questions, and keep an eye on the Fall Info Fair WIN page for more details as we get closer to the Fair!
