Faculty and Staff Club of Western to host 2025 Meet and Greet on Friday

The Faculty Club of Western was founded in 1982 to bridge disparate parts of the university and build community. With a new home in the Kaiser-Borsari Hall event space, we are excited to reboot and rebrand as the Faculty and Staff Club of Western. We invite faculty, classified staff, and professional staff to socialize and network across disciplines at our kickoff event on Friday, Jan. 31 from 4:30-7 p.m. Soft drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be available at opening, and wine and beer will be available between 5-7 p.m.

Please RSVP at https://alumniq.wwu.edu/go/FacultyStaffClub.

Some Club History

The Faculty Club operated continuously for over 40 years until circumstances occasioned a hiatus in 2023. It served to create a community bridging disparate parts of the university, between departments and colleges, between faculty and administration. Through cross-discipline interactions, it facilitated meaningful professional relationships, including numerous research collaborations. As we now move to being the Faculty and Staff Club, we are excited to further broaden this community and facilitate communication and collaboration between faculty and staff across campus.
