Event to help students learn rules regarding parties in Bellingham

The Associated Students Resources and Outreach Programs Legal Information Center is offering Western Washington University students a chance to learn how to party within the limits of the law at an upcoming campus forum. The event is set to take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, in Academic Instructional Center West Room 203.

Three speakers will be present: attorney Adrian Madrone, law specialist Erica Zurek and an officer from University Police.

The event is part of the Legal Information Center’s “Know Your Rights” series designed to teach students about their rights as citizens and how those rights apply to situations that may arise during their time in school as well as after graduation.
