'Drawing Jam' exhibit to evolve daily, starting today, as visitors create own art

The VU Gallery's "Drawing Jam" exhibit, in which gallery visitors can create their own art, kicks off today at 11 a.m. in the Viking Union.

An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday Oct. 13. Free pizza and soda will be served at the event.

The exhibit is a collaborative community art project in which students and other gallery visitors are encouraged to draw, sketch, write and doodle all over the VU Gallery walls. The exhibit is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 10 to 28, Monday through Friday.

Those who would like to claim a portion of the exhibit after it has ended should contact a VU Gallery attendant before leaving the exhibit.
