Counseling and Wellness Center sponsoring 'Through Our Lens' art exhibit in the B Gallery May 7-17

The Counseling and Wellness Center has announced the opening of Through Our Lens, a gallery exhibit featuring film photography and storytelling from Western students. Showcasing a diverse array of images, this exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the vibrant experiences and perspectives of Western students' reflections of well-being, inclusivity, and finding joy amidst difficulty.

The Through Our Lens gallery exhibit runs May 7-17 at the B Gallery, located in Fine Arts Room 118. Please join us for our opening reception on Thursday, May 9, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

Funded by the Sustainability, Equity, and Justice Fund, the Through Our Lens project spanned two quarters and is based on Photovoice, a community-based participatory research methodology. The project connected science and practice, inspiring community engagement and student participation in the development, planning, and implementation of a well-being intervention that gave students a space to reflect individually and communally about belonging and connection at WWU through the medium of photography.

Admission is free. For disability accommodation, please email cwc@wwu.edu.
