Career Center Service Update – Winter & Spring 2026

Recently, one of our career counselors transitioned from their role at WWU, and our temporary Career Support Specialist’s term concludes this week. Because our team will be comprised of two professional staff members, supported by our student staff team, we have adjusted service delivery for the remainder of winter quarter and throughout spring quarter to align with current staffing capacity.

These adjustments allow us to stabilize service delivery while we thoughtfully revisit our vision for career services and consider how best to structure support moving forward.

While our service model has shifted, our commitment to student career readiness remains strong.

As we navigate this transition, some offerings may continue to evolve. We encourage you to regularly visit the Career Center website for the most up-to-date information and to direct students to do the same. Our Connect with Us and Events pages will be updated consistently to reflect current services and opportunities.

We appreciate your partnership and flexibility as we implement this adjusted service model. If you have questions, please reach out to Mindy Pelton at mindy.pelton@wwu.edu.
