Cameroonian Fulbright Scholar Kingsley Ngange to discuss on May 2 the role of Freedom of the Press on Democracy in West Africa
Cameroonian Fulbright Scholar Kingsley Ngange will present “Promoting Press Freedom, Access to Information and Media Ethics in Africa” in Science Lecture 120 (the SMATE building) at 2 p.m. on May 2.
The discussion is free and open to the public, and is scheduled to commemorate UNSECO’s World Press Freedom Day.
His visit is made possible by a grant from Fulbright’s Outreach Lecturing Fund, with support from the Journalism Department, Political Science Department, WWU's Institute for Global Engagement and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
