BPRI short-term student job opportunity doing fieldwork at the Canadian border
WWU's Border Policy Research Institute is hiring students to participate in an international cross-border research project as part of the survey crew on a passenger vehicle study. Participants will engage in fieldwork, working outdoors alongside fellow students, and learn more about the international border between Canada and the U.S.
After completing paid in-person and online trainings in January, the survey crew will heading out in February and March, Wednesdays through Sundays, to work directly with both Canadian and U.S. border inspection officers to collect data on passenger vehicle flows at the border.
