Become a Peer Health Educator with PWS

Prevention & Wellness Services is currently accepting applications to the Peer Health Educator program, a unique volunteer opportunity for passionate Western students committed to enhancing their own health and the health of Western's community. Peer Health Educators come from all academic majors and apply their unique skills, diverse perspectives, and the extensive training they receive to increase the "health literacy" of Western's campus community. Through the program, Peer Health Educators develop meaningful connections with their peers and professional mentors, as well as a strong skill set that supports their academic learning and career plans.

Applications must be submitted online at pws.wwu.edu/apply by this Friday, March 9, at 5 pm. For more information, contact PWS at 360-650-2993 or pws@wwu.edu.
