All-Industries Career and Internship Fair set for Oct. 18

Get ready for the All-Industries Career & Internship Fair taking place Friday, Oct. 18 from noon to 4 p.m.! 

What’s happening? 

Dozens of employers will be tabling in the Wade King Recreation Center MAC Gym to answer questions about their companies, roles they are hiring for and the application process. Also, an opportunity to have a professional headshot taken at our LinkedIn Photobooth happening on site from Noon-2pm.  

Who should attend? 

Everyone! Career Fairs are free opportunities for students, alumni, staff/faculty and campus visitors to meet dozens of local and regional employers who are actively recruiting for internships and jobs across majors and academic levels. 

What can I do now to prepare?   

To ensure you're "Career Fair Ready," follow these three steps: 

  1. Review the list of participating employers in Handshake on the event page for the All-Industries Career & Internship Fair You will be asked to sign in or activate your account on Handshake. 
  2. Prepare your resume, either for uploading onto your Handshake profile or to hand out to employers during the event. Ensure your resume will earn you an interview by attending a resume workshop, schedule a resume review or use templates found on our Career Services Center Resume Resource page.  
  3. Schedule a visit to the WWU Career Closet to pick up free, professional attire to wear
