Submit News Information to the Office of University Communications 

Please give us the following necessary information so that a OUC staff member will be able to help publicize your news with a news release, Events Calendar posting, etc., as appropriate.

1. What is the news? (award, speaker coming to campus, etc.)

3. Who is the news about?
4. When does/did the news take place? If an event, please give time, day, date and place.
5. Where is the news happening? Give room and building location on campus or street address for off campus.
6. How or why is this newsworthy?
7. If an event, is there a cost? If yes, please indicate ticket prices and how to obtain them.
8. If an event, is it open to the public?
9. If an event, are there any special parking arrangements?
10. Is there a print-quality photo available of the newsmaker or item that is newsworthy? (Most newspapers, journals and magazines require high-resolution/300 dpi jpgs or tifs (digital); glossy prints; or slides.)
