Admissions Office (1.96 MB)
The WWU Admissions Office has been given the 2008 Diversity Achievement Award for its successes in diversifying Western's student body. From President Morse: "Today, Western boasts the highest enrollment percentage of diverse students in our history. The Admissions Office is applauded for its thoughtful and comprehensive approach to the admissions process. They look within and then reach out, representing Western with dignity in conveying appreciation for the many cultures that enrich our lives and our curriculum." All members of the Western community are eligible to be nominated for the diversity award. A university-wide committee considered this year's nominations and submitted its recommendations to the president.
