Debra Lee
Debra Lee is a Business Strategist with Western Washington University’s Center for Economic Vitality (formerly the Small Business Development Center). Before coming to Western, Lee worked in senior management for several Fortune rated companies in the field of Risk Management. She has broad based industry experience including hospitality, international oil and gas, real estate and computer accessories manufacturing. Lee also spent several years in a family owned development company in Honolulu. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Hawaii and an A.R.M. from the international Risk and Insurance Management Society. She has been a strategic advisor to business owners for two years covering a broad range of interests including human resources, financial management, succession planning and marketing. A former instructor at Whatcom Community College, Lee now serves on their Advisory Committee for Business Programs.
