BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University's Dance Program will present its annual Summer Dance Concert at 7:30 p.m. July 30-Aug. 1 at ...Ving! located at 311 E. Holly St.
The concert will feature WWU dance students debuting new pieces that were collaboratively created by WWU Dance Program participants and Wade Madsen, a dynamic Seattle-based choreographer.
Madsen will visit Western for a teaching residency during the summer Dance program where, among a number of classes he will be teaching, he will act as an instructor for students enrolled in Dance 357 - Repertory - where the concert works will be created.
Tickets for the performances will be available both at the WWU Box Office and at the door. WWU Box Office summer hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
