BELLINGHAM - Governor Christine Gregoire will be the keynote speaker of Western Washington University's 12th Annual Seattle Business Forum luncheon on Monday, April 13 at the Westin Seattle Grand Ballroom, after an unexpected scheduling conflict forced Alan Mulally, President and CEO of The Ford Motor Co., to cancel.
"We're so pleased that Gov. Gregoire has graciously accepted our invitation to speak to our Seattle Business Forum audience. She is a firm supporter of higher education and a great friend of Western, so we truly appreciate her making the time to join us," said Stephanie Bowers, WWU's Vice President for University Advancement. "It's going to be a great event, with all proceeds going to WWU scholarships. The Seattle business community has always been an incredible supporter for this forum, and we're sure that will continue this year."
Program sponsorship for WWU's Seattle Business Forum is available for $10,000, which includes a table at the event and $9,000 for named WWU scholarships.
