BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University's Performing Arts Center (PAC) Series will present ETHEL, a cutting edge contemporary string quartet, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24 in the PAC Concert Hall.

Comprised of four world-class, Julliard-trained composers and musicians, ETHEL features Cornelius Dufallo (violin), Ralph Farris (viola), Dorothy Lawson (cello), and Mary Rowell (violin). ETHEL has performed commissioned works, classical songs, and their own original compositions in more than 300 shows and 10 different countries since their inception just over a decade ago. In addition to their quartet touring schedule, members of ETHEL have collaborated with some of today's most compelling artists: Sheryl Crow, Gorillaz, Roger Daltrey, Yo-Yo Ma, Ornette Coleman, and Lenny Kravitz.
Tickets for the concert range from $14 to $26 and can be purchased at the WWU Box Office. A limited selection of tickets will be available at Village Books and the Community Food Co-op.

Please note that Lot 14G will be reserved for patrons who wish to attend the event, however, payment at the pay boxes will be required. PAC Series Season subscribers are encouraged to use their parking pass to receive complimentary parking in Lot 11G for this event.
In conjunction with their evening show, ETHEL will present a matinee performance at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 24, for 650 local students in grades K-6 as part of the College of Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) Education Matinee Series.
