BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University's College of Business and Economics (CBE) will host alumnus Craig Cole as part of fall quarter's Ethics and Social Responsibility Executive Speaker Series.
Cole will speak about ethics and social responsibility at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, in Fraser 4. This event is free and open to the public.
Cole, who received his bachelor's degree from WWU's Fairhaven College in 1977, is the former President and CEO of Brown & Cole stores. He currently serves as the director of the Puget Sound Energy Board of Trustees, as well as the chair of Puget Sound Energy's Governance and Public Affairs Committee. He is also on the board of the Seattle-Northwest Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and is a former member of the WWU Board of Trustees.
The series brings senior executives to campus to interact with students and share their perspectives on issues of ethical importance in business organizations.
