CONVOCATION WELCOMES NEW STUDENTS

Welcoming Convocation, one of Western's most meaningful traditions, was held on Sept. 23. After remarks by WWU President Bruce Shepard and others at the PAC, WWU alumni, staff, faculty and current students lined the campus walkways to welcome new students to the Western and Bellingham communities. The WWU Alumni Association hosted a fireworks show to close out the evening.
