BELLINGHAM - The DVD of the President's Distinguished Lecture Series presentation by Roland Fryer "Economics of Incentives: What Drives Individuals and Organizations to Make Decisions?" is now available for viewing in Western Washington University's Wilson Library.
Fryer, an assistant professor of Economics at Harvard, applies scientific and economic tools to the study of issues such as the black-white achievement gap, consequences of distinctively black names and color-blind affirmative action. He spoke at Western on April 10.
The DVD of Fryer's lecture is available for viewing in the Special Collections section of WWU's Wilson Library, which is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by appointment.
