As part of WWU’s “Canada Week,” award-winning Métis poet Marilyn Dumont visited Bellingham on April 17 to give a presentation at Lairmont Manor in Fairhaven that combined performance of her poetry with an introduction to Métis history and her own reflections on where Canada is now in its journey toward a cultural “mosaic.”
