BELLINGHAM – Western Washington University invites family members to Bellingham for Western’s annual Fall Family Open House, Oct. 25-27; festivities kick off on Friday and run through Sunday.
An opening reception and welcome – including continental breakfast – will be held in Wilson Library at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Events for Western’s Fall Family Open House include faculty and student presentations and performances, tours, departmental open houses, a service learning project, planetarium shows, and Western athletic events. Western’s campus eateries, gallery, and bookstore will be open extended hours and an information booth will be staffed to answer questions.
Both families and students are welcomed to attend the events throughout the weekend. Many are free, but some are ticketed. Tickets for the Ryan Stiles and Whose Live Anyway event are sold out, but participants can still purchase tickets for the 4th Annual Raffle to Benefit Student Scholarships, the Wine and Cheese Reception, Western’s Theatre and Dance Department's Main Stage production of Peter Shaffer's play “Equus,” women’s volleyball or basketball, men’s soccer, and planetarium shows.
