BELLINGHAM - The Compass 2 Campus program at Western Washington University is in a contest for a $25,000 award from the State Farm Youth Advisory Board and the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program to help support and inspire elementary, middle and high school kids to graduate from high school and consider post-secondary education.

Western Compass 2 Campus mentors work thousands of hours to mentor and tutor these kids, and they need the community's help! Users may vote up to 10 times per day for Compass 2 Campus.

C2C is a program at Western designed to increase access to higher education by providing an opportunity for fifth through 12th grade students from traditionally underrepresented and diverse backgrounds in Whatcom and Skagit counties to be mentored by university students.
