BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University’s Department of Music will present Composers of Western, a group comprised of student composers and musicians, at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, in the Performing Arts Center Concert Hall.

Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature a range of original works composed by WWU music students within the past year.  Audience members will hear an entire evening of musical premieres as each work is being debuted publicly for the first time.

"Our composition students and performers are incredibly talented and passionate, which should translate into an exciting program of new works,” said Roger Briggs, WWU Professor of Music and Coordinator of the Composition Program.
