BELLINGHAM – Western Washington University’s Center for Service-Learning is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Earth Day Stories for children from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, April 16 at the Bellingham Public Library.
Community members are encouraged to bring children ages 3-8 to the Bellingham Public Library Children’s Reading Room, where Western students will celebrate Earth Day by reading nature- and environment-themed stories. Children will also be able to participate in Earth Day craft projects.
Parents are invited to attend a workshop on how to choose and read environmental books with their children at 1 p.m. in the library’s Dodson Room.
