BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics’ Center for Economic Vitality (CEV), the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce and Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce & Industry are partnering to host “Getting and Keeping the Right People on the Boat: How Can I Hire and Fire?” from noon-1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, in the Whatcom Educational Credit Union at 5659 Barrett Road in Ferndale.
The seminar is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is requested. Participants should register with the CEV by calling (360) 733-4014, ext. 100 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tom Dorr, director of the Center for Economic Vitality, and Meg Greenfield, CEV assistant director, will give the presentation.
The workshop is the third in a series of business workshops held the fourth Wednesday of every month through October 2011 in Ferndale.
